

Shohei Nobuhara

Shohei Nobuhara is a professor at the Faculty of Information and Human Sciences at Kyoto Institute of Technology. He received his B.Eng., M. Sc., and Ph.D. from Kyoto University in 2000, 2002, and 2005 respectively. Before joining Kyoto Institute of Technology in 2023, he was an assistant professor, senior lecturer, and associate professor at the Graduate School of Informatics at Kyoto University from 2005 to 2023, and also a visiting scholar at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University from 2010 to 2011. His research interests include computer vision and human / animal 3D shape and motion analysis. He organized CV4Animals workshop in CVPR from 2021 to 2023 and is contributing as an advisory member from 2024. He served as a program chair at 3DV 2020 and 3DRW 2018, and an area chair at CVPR, WACV, and 3DV.
