

Daigo Muramatsu

Daigo Muramatsu is a Professor with the Faculty of Science and Technology, Seikei University, where he leads the Learning-based Perceptional Data Processing Lab. His research interests are pattern recognition, computer vision, and behavior-based biometrics including gait and cyclist recognition. He received the B.S., M.E., and Ph.D. degree in engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, in 1997, 1999, and 2006, respectively. Dr. Muramatsu has been recognized with several awards, including an honorable mention paper award at the 9th IAPR International Conference on Biometrics (ICB2016), and a best paper award at the 2nd International Workshop on Biometrics and Forensics (IWBF2014). He is a member of the IEEE and an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Biometrics, Behavior, and Identity Science (T-BIOM).
