Presenter Instructions
Oral Presentations
Each oral presentation slot is 20 minutes total, covering the talk, Q&A, and transition to the next speaker. The breakdown is as follows:
| Phase | Time |
|---|---|
| Presentation | ≤ 15 minutes (plan for 14 minutes) |
| Q&A | ~ 4 minutes |
| Transition | ~ 1 minute |
Guidelines
- Presenters must arrive in the session room at least 15 minutes before the session begins to connect their laptops and test their slides.
- Slides should be in 16:9 widescreen format (1920×1080 recommended). Presenters use their own laptops.
- A session chair will introduce each paper and moderate Q&A. The chair will give a 2-minute warning and will stop the presentation at 15 minutes to protect Q&A time.
- Videos embedded in slides must be self-contained and must not require an internet connection.
- At least one author must be present in person. Remote or virtual presentations are not supported.
- Proxy presenters should reach the session chair in advance to notify the session chair of the proxy presenter’s name.
- The room has an HDMI connection; the audio is also played via the HDMI. We will prepare an adapter for USB-C, but please bring yours as well.
- Optional: PPTX presentation template
Poster Presentations
Poster boards are 60″ × 36″ (152 cm × 91 cm) in landscape (horizontal) orientation. Posters must fit within these dimensions.
Guidelines
- Prepare your poster in landscape orientation. We recommend A0 size in landscape (1189 × 841 mm / 46.8″ × 33.1″), which fits the board with comfortable margins.
- Posters will be mounted using the on-site pins provided.
- Authors are expected to be present at their poster for the full duration of their session.
- A board number will be assigned to each paper prior to the sessions. Authors should locate their assigned board and mount their poster at least 20 minutes before the session begins.
- Posters must be removed at the end of the session. The organizers are not responsible for posters left behind.
- Proxy presenters should present each poster.
- Optional: PPTX poster presentation template
